Old company catalogs are incredibly valuable to collectors as they assist in educating, identifying, and dating antique and vintage cast iron and aluminum pieces, as well as in viewing complete product lines. However, these old catalogs are often difficult to come by. Occasionally, a collector may offer reproductions of a catalog from their collection for sale, but more often than not, these catalogs are not readily accessible to other cast iron enthusiasts. 1
I have been going through thousands of photos and files, and while doing so, I came across a .pdf of an old Griswold catalog. This catalog is available online for free download. I’ve already made a post about it on Instagram and Facebook, but I also wanted to share it here for easy access in the future.
I cannot personally vouch for the date of the catalog. However, according to information on the Wagner and Griswold Society website forum, the catalog was likely issued between 1911 and 1915. The Wagner and Griswold Society, also known as “WAGS,” is one of the two national cast iron collecting groups.
Please enjoy the catalog and the wealth of information that it contains.

- I am always willing to purchase catalog reproductions from collectors. I truly appreciate the time, effort, and money spent by the collector to obtain the catalog in the first place.
- The archive where the catalog is stored has been subject to several cyberattacks in October 2024; if the site is not immediately available, wait a few days and try again.
